For the longest of times I have been an avid admirer of your work, the colour palettes, attention to detail and soul that pours into all that you do.
In my heart I have been thinking for a while about what the dreams of my business look like and one very dear to me has been approaching you to ask about creating a yarn for your beautiful designs.
Often I dye colours and think, oh my, would be gorgeous in a Ornata Blouse or Nivalis Beret! Maybe it is time to write!
The base that I am currently using is a 100% Superwash Merino Wool which I can source in any weight. I am also very happy to discuss alternate bases too!
Recently I have been spending more time dyeing larger batches of yarn all around the walnut tree. The rich browns and deep golds have won over my heart and they are particular shades that always make me think of the warmth of your work.
I dye my yarn with as many foraged materials as I can find, it is such a grounding way to discover my surroundings and give my hands the opportunity to live out their creative dreams. Whilst walking alongside my boys early years, it has been a means to carve out a career that can nurture us both and I am so grateful!
As he is growing I have more time to start ambitious projects and this year has brought two really exciting collaborations so far that will come to life in the next three months.
These opportunities have gifted me the experience of working on a larger scale with repeat dye vats and my new joys, of 60l dye vats.
I am so excited to write to say that I would love to work on any project that is capturing your imagination. I imagine you are exceptionally busy but I would be so happy to wait and work around your schedules! If you have any ideas that jump to mind I would love to learn of them and would happily consult the dye pots to make some samples!
